How does the Helmet Mount provide versatile light positioning?

The VariArc™ Helmet Mount locks your light in the forward position for important uses. With a twist, it unlocks and rotates to 8 lower-force positions. This allows for 360-degree light direction. It is suitable for administrative tasks, diffused lighting, umbrella lighting, canopy lighting, and IR strobe signaling.

What types of helmets is the Mount compatible with?

Is the VariArc™ mount easy to install?

Installation is straightforward.

For the ARC (Ops-Core) version, you simply slide it onto your helmet rail.
For Team Wendy, attach it with cap screws to the side mount location.
For M-LOK, slightly loosen the cam nuts, insert into the side slot, and then tighten the screws.

It's important not to loosen the adjustment center screw before mounting.

Can I adjust the tension of the mount's 360-degree rotation?

You do not typically need to adjust the center screw unless you find that the tension has loosened after extended use. The indexing will initially be tight for the first few rotations.

When will I receive my item?

When we have received your order, you will automatically receive an e-mail confirming your order. If your order does not have a listed wait time, orders are picked, packed and shipped within two business days. Delivery time is usually 2-4 business days with UPS.

Orders and Exchange Policy

If you want to change a product’s additional features and licenses, or add supplementary hardware to a recent purchase, please contact us so we are able to reserve the new item from our stock immediately. If we have not shipped your original order, we are happy to add your additional purchase to your existing shipment and refund the difference in shipping cost. If your order has already shipped, it will be necessary to create a new shipment.

If you would like to exchange a device for which you have purchased a license, the value of the device will be applied to the new purchase, but the value of the license will not. Hytera licenses are serialized to the device purchased, and are therefore permanent and non-refundable.

Return Policy

You may request a refund for physical products purchased within 30 days of receipt of your order, as long as the item has not been used, and is in the original packaging. You will be refunded upon receipt of your products, less the return shipping cost.

If the item is not received in its original packaging and with the entirety of its original accessories, we will assess a 10% restocking fee. We reserve the right to assess an appropriate restocking fee based on the condition of any hardware received in used or damaged condition, or missing original accessories. Items received in non functional condition will not be refunded unless Comanche Comms is responsible for the equipment failure.

Hytera licenses are serialized to the device purchased, and are therefore permanent and non-refundable.
