UANVB-FCR - Tough Aluminum Body, Manual Gain & IR for Full Control.
The UANVB-FCR Manticore-R is a very strong night vision binocular made from the same metal used for airplanes. It is built for police, soldiers, and anyone who needs gear that works every time, no matter what. With easy-to-use buttons and a lifetime warranty on the housing, you can trust it to help you see in the dark when it matters most.
Built to Survive a Beating: Unlike gear made of plastic, the Manticore-R is built from super-strong 7075-T6 aluminum. This housing is made to handle drops and rough use in the toughest conditions.
Total Control with Manual Gain: Simple push buttons let you turn the power on and use the built-in infrared light. Thanks to the manual gain feature, you can also change the screen brightness for the perfect view without fumbling with controls.
Turn Pitch Black into Daylight: This device uses top-of-the-line Gen 3 white phosphor tubes to give you a sharp, black-and-white picture. When there's no light at all, the built-in IR illuminator acts like a flashlight that only you can see, lighting up the darkest spaces.
Power Through the Longest Nights: You get over 26 hours of use from just one CR123A battery. If you need more time, you can plug in an external battery pack to keep going for over 100 hours.

Nocturn Industries Manticore-Ruggedized FAQs
What does "Ruggedized" mean?
It means this goggle is extra tough. It's made from a strong metal called 7075 aluminum, not plastic. This helps it survive drops and hard use without breaking.
What does it mean that the pods are "articulating"?
"Articulating" means each side can flip up on its own. You can use both eyes, just one eye, or flip them both up and out of the way. When you flip one side up, it turns off to save power.
Is the Manticore-R waterproof?
Yes. It is rated IP68+, which means it is sealed to keep out water and dust. It is also tested to military standards for durability.
What is "manual gain"?
Manual gain lets you control the brightness of the image you see. You can make it brighter in very dark areas or dimmer when there's more light. This helps you get the clearest picture possible.
What is the IR illuminator for?
The IR (infrared) illuminator is like a flashlight that only night vision can see. You use it when you are in total darkness, like inside a building with no lights.
How long does the battery last?
A single CR123A battery will last for over 26 hours. You can also buy caps to use AA or AAA batteries. For even longer missions, you can plug in an outside battery pack for more than 100 hours of power.
How does Atomic Defense make sure the goggles are set up right?
We set up and test every single unit ourselves in-house. We use a special machine called a Hoffman ANV-126A to perfectly align, or "collimate," the goggles. This makes sure both eyes see one clear image so you don't get headaches or eye strain. Every unit comes with a full test report so you can see the results.
Can I get the Manticore-R in different colors or with special lenses?
